RMS at glance

RMS Licenses (1, 3, 5, or 10 Years)

These are device-tied subscriptions used for full RMS Management.

  • A license is attached to one device and cannot be moved

  • Activates all core RMS features for that device

  • Options: 1, 3, 5, or 10 years

RMS Credits

RMS Credits are flexible and account-based, not tied to a device.

They can be used for:

  • RMS Management (1 credit = 1 month for any device)

  • RMS Connect sessions

  • RMS VPN

  • Other pay-as-you-go RMS services

If you need flexible access instead of a long-term license, you can purchase RMS credits here.

RMS Overview

Teltonika RMS Frequently Asked Questions

What is Teltonika RMS?

Teltonika RMS (Remote Management System) is a cloud based platform that lets you monitor, manage and control your Teltonika routers and gateways from anywhere. It helps you update firmware, change settings and check device status without visiting the device physically.

Do I need Teltonika RMS for my device to work?

No. Your device will work normally without RMS. RMS is an optional service that makes remote management easier and more efficient.

What can I do with RMS?

With RMS you can view if your device is online, reboot devices remotely, update firmware, change configuration settings, get alerts and reports and securely access the device WebUI.

How long does an RMS credit last?

One RMS credit provides 30 days of remote management for one device.

What is the difference between RMS Credits and RMS Device Tied Licenses?

RMS Credits are flexible and can be assigned to any device you choose. They are ideal if you manage multiple devices or change devices often. RMS Device Tied Licenses are linked permanently to one device and provide long term fixed access for that exact device. They are ideal for stable installations.

Which option should I choose, Credits or Device Tied Licenses?

Choose Credits if you want flexibility. Choose Device Tied Licenses if the device will remain in long term use and you prefer simple yearly or multi year coverage.

Can I transfer RMS Credits between devices?

Yes. Credits are not locked to one device. You can assign available credits to any device you manage.

Can I transfer RMS Device Tied Licenses?

No. A device tied license is permanently linked to the device serial number and cannot be moved to a different device.

Do I need to install anything to use RMS?

No. RMS works in your browser. You only need an account and a supported Teltonika device.

Can I use RMS with all Teltonika routers?

Yes. All modern Teltonika routers and gateways support RMS.

Manufacturer Warranty

Teltonika appliances are covered by the manufacturer’s standard two-year "return to base" warranty. This means that products may need to be returned either to the manufacturer or to us for assessment, repair, or replacement.

Warranty Extensions

These warranty extension options and services are primarily intended for business customers. This focus reflects the needs of business-critical equipment, where minimal downtime and rapid product replacements are essential.

3 Year Warranty
Enhance your peace of mind with our Extended Warranty, adding 1 extra year to the standard 2-years manufacturer’s warranty for a total of 3 years of coverage.

3 Year Advanced Replacement
